Thanks to the strong engagement and effort of everyone in The Economy of Francesco community, we are happy to announce new, reduced amounts for participation in our Start-up incubator program for non-extractive business models.
Therefore, we invite all young entrepreneurs, as well as experienced ones, to join us on the island of Krapanj from April 21 to 27, 2026 for this unique program that combines successful and negotiated business with the principles of Catholic social teaching and the spirituality of the Catholic Church.
The new fees are: 400 Euros (solidarity rate), 750 Euros (normal rate), 1000 Euros (generosity rate). This price is all-in (accommodation, food, content) for a 1-week entrepreneurship retreat at a Franciscan monastery on Krapanj Island in Croatia. This should make our program more accessible to everyone!
The EoF incubator will emphasize Steward Ownership and new economic thinking (PGE). Our cohort welcomes (aspiring) social entrepreneurs, ecosystem partners (academics, investors, startup mentors), religious (clergy, monks/nuns, laypeople), and anyone who is curious.
The Economy of Francesco operates in an inclusive spirit.. *everyone* (secular, Buddhist, Muslim, Protestant, Christian, etc..) is welcome! The only requirement is an open-mindedness towards Catholicism and a heartfelt desire to work together to build “an economy that does not kill”.
